Cookie banner for small businesses
Free cookie banner with Google Consent Mode v2
For small businesses that want Google Analytics or Google Ads on their site without breaking the rules. The banner is free, and if you have no time to install it, I can do it for you.
- Consent before analytics and ads start, as GDPR and the ePrivacy rules require
- Google Consent Mode v2, needed for measurement and remarketing in Google Ads
- English, Polish and German included
- 9.5 kB, no third-party servers, does not slow your site down
What you get
Consent before anything runs
Until the visitor decides, every signal except the essential one is set to denied. Google Analytics and ads wait for the click.
Reject as easy as Accept
Both buttons sit side by side at the same level. That is freely given consent, not a nudge.
One switch per purpose
Statistics, advertising, personalisation: each category has its own toggle and description. The banner only shows the ones your site actually uses.
Change of mind at any time
A Cookie settings link in the footer reopens the banner. Withdrawing consent is as simple as giving it.
Fast and independent
Plain JavaScript, no libraries, nothing loaded from other people’s servers. Works on static sites, WordPress and anywhere you can add code to the <head>.
Ready for Hugo
Hugo sites get a module: banner, settings and footer link are switched on with a single setting.
Two plans
The banner and Consent Mode work the same in both. The difference is the consent register and the AMOEC link.
Free
£0 / 0 zł
- Full banner with categories and Consent Mode v2
- English, Polish and German
- Cookie settings link for your footer
- A small “Consent banner by AMOEC” link in the banner
Enough if you simply want correct consent on your site.
With consent register
Quoted after a short call
- Everything in Free, without the AMOEC link
- Consent register: every decision stored with date, banner version and chosen categories
- Data in Google Cloud, in the European Union
- Proof of consent when a customer or a regulator asks for it
GDPR requires the controller to be able to demonstrate consent. The register is that proof.
How it works
I check your site
I look at which cookies and scripts your site sets and sort them into categories. If you use none beyond the essential ones, I will tell you that you do not need a banner.
I install it
Two files on your server and one line in your page code, before Google Tag Manager or the Analytics tag. You can do it yourself or leave it to me.
I test it
I test reject, accept and withdrawal, and check in Google Analytics that measurement follows the visitor’s choice.
Where it already runs
